PENGEMBANGAN FLOOD WARNING ALARM SEDERHANA SEBAGAI ALAT PERAGA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS MATERI BUMI MENGALAMI PERUBAHAN DI MIN 6 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Teaching aids in learning are one of the important components in the field of education. In their use, instructional teaching aids are utilized to explain and convey information related to the learning process being carried out. Teaching aids help teachers attract students attention during learning activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of developing a flood warning alarm teaching aid (a flood detection device) on the topic Earth Undergoing Changes at MIN 6 Banda Aceh. In the learning process, efforts to attract students attention are needed so that they have an impact on learning outcomes. This requires creativity and innovation in maximizing the use of teaching aids as learning media. Through this approach, students become more motivated and are assisted in understanding theoretical concepts and in applying them in the form of skills, which in turn encourages an increase in learning motivation. The results of the development of a simple flood warning alarm as a teaching aid show that students enthusiasm in applying and using the teaching aid is able to enhance their understanding of the material being studied.
