The following guidelines are intended to assist authors in preparing manuscripts for submission to Journal Elementary of Education (JEE). Authors are strongly encouraged to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure consistency, academic quality, and compliance with international publication standards. Manuscripts submitted to JEE must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in other journals or proceedings. The journal accepts manuscripts written in both English and Indonesian to support broader national and international academic dissemination.

Articles submitted to JEE may include research articles, literature reviews, conceptual papers, and classroom action research related to elementary education. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) on A4 paper size with margins of 3 cm on the left and 2.5 cm on the top, right, and bottom. The manuscript should use Times New Roman font size 12 pt with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment. The length of the manuscript should range from 4,000 to 5,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

The manuscript should be organized systematically, consisting of the title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments (optional), and references. The title should be concise, informative, and represent the content of the article clearly. Author information must include full name, institutional affiliation, and email address of the corresponding author. ORCID ID is highly recommended to support international publication standards.

The abstract must be written in both English and Indonesian with a length of 150–250 words. The abstract should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study without including citations. Authors should provide three to five keywords that reflect the main topics discussed in the manuscript.

The introduction should explain the research background, research problems, objectives, relevant literature review, and the novelty or significance of the study. The method section should clearly describe the research design, participants or sample, data collection techniques, research instruments, and data analysis procedures. The results and discussion section should present findings systematically and discuss them critically in relation to relevant theories and previous studies. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, clearly presented, and accompanied by appropriate titles and sources where necessary. The conclusion should summarize the main findings and provide recommendations or implications for future research and educational practice.

References must follow the APA 7th Edition citation style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. At least 80% of references should come from scientific journals published within the last ten years, with a minimum of 15 references for research articles.

JEE upholds publication ethics based on international academic standards. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and avoiding plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening, and the similarity index should not exceed 20%. Authors must also acknowledge all sources properly and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

All manuscripts submitted to JEE undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers in relevant fields. The editor reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions to any submitted manuscript based on the reviewers’ recommendations and editorial considerations.

To support wider dissemination of knowledge, JEE applies an open-access policy, allowing all published articles to be freely accessed by readers worldwide. Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system and ensure that the manuscript complies fully with the journal template and formatting requirements before submission.
