All parties involved in the publication process, including editors, reviewers, and authors, are required to comply with the established ethical standards to ensure the quality and credibility of scholarly publications.

Duties and Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for determining which manuscripts are eligible for publication based on academic quality, scientific contribution, originality, and relevance to the journal’s focus and scope. Editors evaluate manuscripts objectively without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional background of the authors. Editors must also maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and may not use unpublished materials for personal interests.

Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers assist editors in evaluating the scientific quality of manuscripts objectively and professionally. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, clear, and evidence-based feedback. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review and are not permitted to use unpublished materials for personal advantage. Reviewers should also inform the editor if they identify any indication of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or conflict of interest.

Duties and Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are required to present research findings honestly, objectively, and accurately without data manipulation, fabrication, or falsification. Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal. All sources used in the research must be properly cited according to the applicable citation guidelines.

Authors are also required to acknowledge all individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and publication process as co-authors. Any source of research funding should be clearly stated in the manuscript. For research involving human participants, authors are encouraged to provide an ethical clearance statement from the appropriate institution or ethics committee.

Plagiarism Policy

JEE does not tolerate any form of plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the review process. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the journal’s acceptable limit will be returned to the authors or rejected.

Conflict of Interest

All parties involved in the publication process must avoid conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of editorial decisions and manuscript evaluations. Authors, editors, and reviewers are required to disclose any personal, professional, or financial relationships that may create potential conflicts of interest.

Publication Decisions

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection is the responsibility of the editor based on reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s editorial policies. Editorial decisions are made professionally, objectively, and transparently.

Corrections and Retractions

If significant errors or violations of publication ethics are identified after publication, the editor may issue corrections, clarifications, or article retractions depending on the severity of the issue.

By submitting a manuscript to JEE, authors confirm that they understand and agree to comply with all publication ethics policies established by the journal.
