Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Multidisiplin (JIMM) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and publication ethics by preventing all forms of plagiarism in submitted manuscripts. All authors are required to submit original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication in other journals or proceedings.

Every manuscript submitted to JIMM will undergo plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or other similar applications before entering the peer review process. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editorial board, depending on the level and type of similarity identified.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

• Copying text, ideas, figures, tables, or research results from other sources without proper citation.
• Paraphrasing substantial parts of another author’s work without appropriate acknowledgment.
• Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication of previously published work without clear disclosure.
• Submitting manuscripts containing fabricated or manipulated data.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources used in the manuscript are properly cited using APA Style (latest edition). Direct quotations, paraphrased materials, and adapted figures or tables must include appropriate references and acknowledgments.

If plagiarism is identified before publication, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and notify the author’s institution or affiliated organization if necessary.

JIMM upholds strict ethical publishing standards and encourages authors to maintain honesty, originality, and transparency in all stages of research and publication.
