Publication Ethic
Jurnal Humaniora Pendidikan (JHP) is committed to maintaining academic and publication integrity by adhering to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). This publication ethics policy applies to authors, editors, and reviewers.
1. Authors' Ethics
Authors are required to:
- Submit original scholarly work and ensure that the manuscript is free from plagiarism, with a similarity index of ≤20%.
- Ensure that the manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal.
- Present research data honestly and accurately, without fabrication, falsification, or manipulation.
- Properly acknowledge and cite all sources using the APA Style.
- Ensure that all individuals who have made significant contributions to the research are appropriately recognized as authors.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest, if applicable.
2. Editors' Ethics
Editors are responsible for:
- Evaluating manuscripts objectively based on their academic and scientific quality.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and author information.
- Avoiding conflicts of interest in the editorial and decision-making process.
- Making editorial decisions based on the results of the peer-review process.
- Handling allegations of research and publication misconduct in a professional and appropriate manner.
3. Reviewers' Ethics
Reviewers are required to:
- Provide evaluations that are objective, constructive, and timely.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all information contained in the submitted manuscript.
- Declare and avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
- Identify potential plagiarism, methodological problems, or significant scientific errors.
4. Publication Ethics
- All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
- JHP does not tolerate any form of plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data.
- If a serious ethical violation is identified, the editor may take appropriate action, including article retraction.
- JHP is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and academic integrity throughout the publication process.
